For this exposed-edge look we use a super-durable, 13-layer birch plywood. This high-quality material lets us be creative and make cutouts in the casework and drawer fronts to give our cabinetry a more natural, crafted look. This style is especially popular with mid-century modern décor.

But our focus is always on usability. This kitchen has distinct cleaning, storage, prep and cooking zones, each paired with appropriate storage areas. And we’ve found creative ways to maximize space with unique storage solutions above the cooktop and on the island.
