Material/Options

We use a very high-grade of plywood called Europly. It consists of 13 layers plus the 2 veneer layers for a total of 15. It’s heavier than most plywoods and these extra layers results in durability. In Europe they have a similar plywood called Baltic birch. However, ours is made in the USA and has a high-quality domestic veneer on the outside that gives it a very durable exterior layer that's great for a clear finish.

Unless otherwise noted, we use a high quality water-based finish that has a dull luster.

Each made-to-order setup has a measured drawing included in the thumbnails. If you’re looking at custom, we can do a range of widths that can be seen on our custom options page.

We can do that! The heart of our business has always been custom and you’ll work with our designer to create something that’s perfect for your needs. Just give us a call or use our contact page to reach out. Learn more about our custom program.

Yes, there are so many! In our custom program we’ll ask you for your top choices and send you a link to the laminate manufacturers website.

Installation

We would recommend the installation be done by a professional finish carpenter. However, if you’re an experienced DIY’er and good with a level then we can walk you through the installation.

Cabinets must be properly secured to stud framing within the wall. Wall units cannot be secured by poles alone. We will not be responsible for damages done during installation unless the installation is done by us.

If you’re located within a two hour drive of our shop in Campbell, CA we can deliver and install for a fee. We are licensed, insured and bonded in California. (License #1064722.)
